Christmas is one week away! Anyone else find that just crazy?!?! Well, I am beyond excited. There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a child’s eyes light up with excitement on Christmas morning. Every year we leave our shopping until the very last day, scrambling to get the kids gifts they will love. This year, however, we had an early release from work and a 20% off Target coupon that expired two days later. So, of course, we went shopping early!
My kids are 23 months and 4 years old and if you have kids around the same age, this gift guide is for you.

Top 5 Gifts for Toddlers & Preschoolers
Magnets
My kids love playing with magnets. I noticed my oldest playing with them in school around 2 years old and we knew we had to get them for her. She pulls them out all the time and loves building castles. We love the colorful, tiled magnets and find they foster creativity and education while having fun.
Puzzles
Who doesn’t love a good puzzle? Once we realized my daughter was really good at puzzles, I did not shy away from purchasing a good puzzle for her. Both Ry and I love sitting down with her and watching her carefully put it together. This is an activity where my kids will sit quietly until it is done which I love! We have been doing 12-24 piece puzzles, this year we will upgrade to a bit more challenging 48 piece puzzle.
Amazon STEM Club
This is an amazing concept. If you love subscription boxes you will enjoy this STEM box for your little ones. Each month you’ll receive toys geared towards counting, building and cause and effect. This monthly subscription is an amazing gift for your little learners.
Pretend Play Toys
I am in love with Melissa & Doug toys. When it comes to dress up costumes, they have the best quality out there and an array of options to chose from. Not only do they have fun clothes but the Melissa & Doug cleaning set has proven to be a hit with little cleaners.
Kindle Fire
We are pro screens here but believe in putting limits on the screen time our kids receive. The Kindle Fire is great for the traveling family. Whether its a long car ride or a plane ride, load a few games and a show or two to keep your little ones entertained. And with them being affordably priced. You don’t worry too much about damage to the device.
Have toys you really like for your little ones? Post in the comments, I’d love to see what others are getting their children this Christmas.
